NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED 2026-2027 BUDGET
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on Monday, February 2nd, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., at the Augusta Village
Hall 109 W. Clinton Street Augusta, Michigan, the Village Council of the Village of Augusta will hold a
public hearing to consider the proposed 2026-2027 budget.
The Council may not adopt its proposed 2026-2027 budget until after the public hearing. A copy of the
proposed 2026-2027 budget is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the
Augusta Village Hall.
The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a
subject at a later meeting.
The date and location of the meeting to take action on the proposed millage will be announced at this
public meeting.
The taxing unit publishing this notice, and identified below, has complete authority to establish the
number of mills to be levied from within its authorized millage rate.
This notice is given by order of the Village Council of the Village of Augusta.
